Pilgrims once flocked to our stone “fountain of plenty,” or Fonplégade. Centuries after the first vines were planted here, the power of this place endures, and the fountain’s promise of abundance still holds true.

The piano in our Orangerie rarely stays quiet for long. Musicians perform here often, and now and then a guest, lingering over a glass, is drawn to the keys to play. We invite you to enjoy this selection of music, one of the many melodies that fill the air at Château Fonplégade.

Château Fonplégade is our home estate, on Saint-Émilion’s limestone soils. Our second Bordeaux estate is Château L’Enclos in Pomerol. ADAMVS is our California winery and vineyard on the volcanic slopes of Howell Mountain.
